THE HONOLULU POLICE COMMISSION
ANNOUNCES RECRUITMENT FOR

The Chief of Police provides executive direction for the administration
of fiscal, operational, and departmental objectives, and oversees the
development and implementation of organizational goals, policies and
programs of the Honolulu Police Department. Exceptional leadership
and managerial skills required.
The Chief of Police shall serve to uphold standards of safety and
excellence in preserving the peace, protecting the rights of persons and
property, enforcing State and City laws, and in the prevention of crime.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
• United States Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5 years law enforcement experience;
3 in a responsible administrative capacity
