Traffic Schedule No. 2021-1
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2021-1 TO AMEND SCHEDULE I OF SECTION 15-6.2(a) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS (CITY); SCHEDULE II OF SECTION 15-6.2(b) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON FEDERAL-AID HIGHWAYS (STATE); SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIII OF SECTION 15-14.5(b) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED LOADING/UNLOADING; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended on the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule I of Sec. 15-6.2(a) establishing traffic signals (City) by adding thereto the following items:
“Kapolei Pkwy.-Keaunui St.”
b. By amending Schedule II of Sec. 15-6.2(b) establishing traffic signals on Federal-aid Highway (State) by adding thereto the following items:
” Kamehameha Hwy-Lumiauau St.”
c. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
“Haleaina St., for its entire length.”
“Halepili St., for its entire length.”
“Halepuna St. for its entire length.”
“Kapolei Pkwy. from Koana St. to Kai Oli St. (city-owned portion) when children are present.”
“Kulauli St., for its entire length.”
“Waiomea St., for its entire length.”
d. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following items:
“Kalakaua Ave., No left turn from the driveways of 1901 & 1911 Kalakaua Ave.”
“Kapolei Pkwy., No “U” turn from Kapolei Pkwy. at Koana St. in both directions.”
e. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following items:
“Haalilo St-Lehiwa Dr. Traffic on Haalilo St. shall stop before entering Lehiwa Dr.”
“Halepili St-Anonui St. Traffic on Halepili St. shall stop before entering Anonui St.”
“Halepuna St-Anonui St. Traffic on Halepuna St. shall stop before entering Anonui St.”
“Haleaina St-Halepili St. Traffic on Haleaina St. shall stop before entering Halepili St.”
“Haleaina St-Halepuna St. Traffic on Haleaina St. shall stop before entering Halepuna St.”
“Hiapo St-Waipahu St. Traffic shall stop on Hiapo St. before entering Waipahu St.”
“Kaiawe St-Lehiwa Dr. Traffic on Kaiawe St. shall stop before entering Lehiwa Dr.”
“Kulauli St-Kulauli St. Traffic on Kulauli St. shall stop before entering Kulauli St.”
“Pukoa St-N. Kainalu Dr. Traffic on Pukoa St. shall stop before entering N. Kainalu Dr.”
“Waiehu Pl-Waimakua Dr. Traffic on Waiehu Pl. shall stop before entering Waimakua Dr.”
“Waimakua Pl.-Waimakua Dr. Traffic on Waimakua Pl. shall stop before entering Waimakua Dr.”
“Waimoku Pl.-Waimakua Dr. Traffic on Waimoku Pl. shall stop before entering Waimakua Dr.”
“Waipahu St-Leowahine St. Traffic on Waipahu St. shall stop before entering Waipahu St.”
f. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones-24 hours in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
“Kamehameha Hwy., makai side, distance 32′ southerly direction from a property line of 47-039 Kamehameha Hwy.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following item:
“Hobron Ln., ewa side, distance 130′ makai direction from a point 100′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Kaioo Dr. (mauka intersection).”
g. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Haleaina St., within its turnaround area.”
“Halepili St., northern side, between Anonui St. and Haleaina St.”
“Halepili St., southern side, distance 175′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Haleaina St.”
“Halepili St., within its turnaround area.”
“Halepuna St., northern side, between Anonui St. and Haleaina St.”
“Halepuna St., within its turnaround area.”
“Kulauli St., on the traffic island at its intersection with Makalani St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., even-numbered side, distance 80′ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Kaiawe St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., even-numbered side, distance 115′ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Kaiawe St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., even-numbered side, distance 130′ westerly direction from a point 300′ east of the eastern curb prolongation of Meheula Pkwy. (wester intersection).”
“Lehiwa Dr., even-numbered side, distance 140′ westerly direction from a point 800′ west of the western curb prolongation of Haalilo St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., even-numbered side, distance 150′ westerly direction from a point 565′ west of the western curb prolongation of Haalilo St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., even-numbered side, distance 175′ westerly direction from a point 1035′ west of the western curb prolongation of Haalilo St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., odd-numbered side, distance 75′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Haalilo St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., odd-numbered side, 90′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Kaiawe St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., odd-numbered side, 45′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Kaiawe St.”
“Lehiwa Dr., odd-numbered side, distance 70′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Haalilo St.”
“Liliha St., Koko Head side, distance 100′ mauka direction from a point 45′ from the makai property line of 1711 Liliha St.”
“Pua Alowalo St., on the traffic island at its intersection with Waiawi St.”
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Aumakua St., makai side, distance of approximately 105′ Koko Head direction from the makai curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr.; to read:
“Aumakua St., makai side, distance approximately 86′ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr.”
Haloa Dr., Koko Head side, distance 150′ makai direction from a point 62′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Halupa St.; to read:
“Haloa Dr., Koko Head side, distance 176′ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Halupa St.”
3. By deleting therefrom the following items:
“Lehiwa Dr., makai side, distance 252′ Koko Head direction from a point approximately 1780′ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Meheula Pkwy.”
“Lehiwa Dr., mauka side, distance 666′ Koko Head direction from a point approximately 1370′ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Meheula Pkwy.”
h. By amending Schedule XXIII of Sec. 15-14.5(b) establishing prohibited parking loading and unloading by deleting the following item:
“Hobron Ln., ewa side, distance 130′ makai direction from a point 100′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Kaioo Dr. (mauka intersection).”
i. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones by deleting therefrom subsection (b) freight loading zones the following item:
“Hobron Ln., ewa side, distance 36′ makai direction from a point 93′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of the mauka end of Kaioo Dr.”
j. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Anipeahi St., eastern side, distance 110′ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Awawa St.”
“Anipeahi St., eastern side, distance 160′ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Ualehei St.”
“Nohohale St., northern side, distance 90′ easterly direction from a point 30′ west of the western curb prolongation of Lihau St.”
“Palailai St., southern side, distance 90′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Newa St.”
“Palailai St., southern side, distance 100′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Nohona St.”
“Palailai St., southern side, distance 90′ westerly direction from a point 45′ east of the eastern curb prolongation of Nohopono St.”
“Palailai St., western side, distance 100′ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Palailai Pl.”
2. By amending thereto the following item:
Aumakua Dr., mauka side, distance 150′ Koko Head direction from a point 8′ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr.; to read:
“Aumakua St., mauka side, distance 170′ Koko Head direction from a point 23′ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Aamanu St.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
