NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu under Special Management Area Ordinance, Chapter 25, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu (ROH), as amended, for the following application at the date and the time specified or soon thereafter (please note that ROH Section 25-5.3(b), requiring public hearings to be held in the area in which the development is proposed, is waived under the Governor’s current emergency proclamation):

Pursuant to Governor David Ige’s Seventeenth Proclamation, issued on
December 16, 2020 and Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Emergency Order (EO) 2020-30, effective November 20, 2020, both relating to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the
January 15, 2021 meeting will be held remotely to prevent transmissions of the virus causing COVID-19. Protecting the health and welfare of the community is of utmost concern. City Staff, Agents, and Applicants may be participating via online meeting venue. Informatio
n on how the public may participate in the meeting is provided below.

Join in person: The city is exercising a good faith effort to provide this option only to members of the public who are unable to attend the meeting via phone or Webex. Only persons wearing masks that cover the nose and mouth will be allowed in the Mission Memorial Auditorium. All people inside the Mission Memorial Auditorium or waiting outside for a turn to testify must abide by social distancing guidelines and thus maintain six feet of distance between themselves and others and wear face coverings.
