PUBLIC NOTICE
EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT (ESG) PROGRAM
Pursuant to the City and County of Honolulu’s (City) Citizen Participation Plan, the proposed amendments to the City’s Twenty-Fourth (24th) and Twenty-Fifth (25th) Year Action Plans are provided for your information. The City desires to re-categorize Fiscal Year 2019 funds and reprogram Fiscal Year 2020 funds to projects that can utilize the funds immediately in order to achieve ESG program goals more efficiently and expediently. The proposed revisions to the Fiscal Year 2019 and Fiscal Year 2020 ESG projects are provided for your information and use.
Fiscal Year 2019 (Twenty-Fourth (24th) Year Action Plan)
CHANGE OF ELIGIBLE CATEGORY OF SPENDING
Kalihi-Palama Health Center – Emergency Relief Program
Project Description: Remove category of Rapid Re-Housing, and move grant funds in Rapid Re-Housing category to existing Homelessness Prevention category to provide financial assistance, housing relocation and stabilization services.

Project Description: Grant funds for a rapid re-housing program, which includes short-term or medium-term rental assistance, financial assistance, and housing and stabilization services, which includes short-term or medium-term rental assistance, financial assistance, and housing relocation and stabilization services, excluding moving costs, and a homelessness prevention program.
