HOUSING TRUST FUND (HTF) PROGRAM

In accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements regarding the City and County of Honolulu’s (City) Consolidated Plan, the City hereby provides a list of approved or anticipated projects for the City’s Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2020 (July 30, 2019-June 30, 2020) that the City proposes to undertake to address the needs identified in the Consolidated Plan to address affordable housing and community development needs.

Kinai ‘Eha Workforce Housing
Project Description: Acquisition of existing duplex for rental housing and supportive services for chronically homeless youths.

Project Description: Acquisition of a nine (9) bedroom single-family dwelling that will provide five (5) permanent rental units for single unrelated homeless adults with the disability of serious mental illness at or below 30% AMI.

Project Description: Provision of grant or loan funds to provide approximately up to three (3) single room occupancy (SRO) units or one (1) four-bedroom rental housing unit in Urban Honolulu CDP, as described at http://files.hawaii.gov/dbedt/op/gis/ maps/2010_cdp_urban-honolulu.pdf, serving extremely low-income households with incomes at or below 30% AMI.
