NOTICE
VIDEO MONITORING FOR THE
ELECTIONS DIVISION, OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 2-32.3(b)(5), Revised Ordinances of Honolulu to notify the public that video surveillance cameras are being installed at the Honolulu Elections Division, Airport Industrial Park, 3375 Koapaka St. D150, Honolulu, HI 96819.
These cameras will be employed to safeguard the integrity and security of the elections processing operation and secure storage areas. The video surveillance cameras will be used to achieve legitimate governmental objectives for legitimate public purposes. The video surveillance cameras will begin operating and recording ten (10) calendar days after publication of this legal notice.
Four (4) stationary video cameras that can record, but cannot pan will be installed as follows:
1. Outside the main entrance of the Honolulu Elections Division Suite D150 facing north;
2. Inside the warehouse/election processing area of the Honolulu Elections Division, west wall facing northeast;
3. Inside the warehouse/election processing area of the Honolulu Elections Division, north wall facing southwest; and
4. Inside the warehouse/election processing area of the Honolulu Elections Division, north wall facing southeast.
Members of the public may submit written comments related to the monitoring no later than ten (10) days following publication of this notice to:
