TO: Survivors of LEILA N. MONIZ and the Personal Representative in the Estate of LEILA N. MONIZ: Claimant filed an appeal to the Labor and Industrial Relations Appeal Board on December 4, 2009 and Employer filed a cross appeal on December 7, 2009. Claimant died on November 27, 2016. To date, no court-appointed legal representative of Claimant’s estate has appeared in this appeal.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that trial in this appeal will be held on May 6, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., at the Board, 830 Punchbowl Street, Room 404, Honolulu, Hawaii.
The parties are further notified that the Board intends to dismiss the appeal and/or impose other sanctions as appropriate if either Appellant or Cross-Appellant fails to timely appear for the trial.
