PUBLIC NOTICE
HOUSING TRUST FUND (HTF) PROGRAM
Pursuant to the City and County of Honolulu’s (City) Citizen Participation Plan, the proposed amendments to the City’s Twenty-Fourth (24th) and Twenty-Fifth (25th) Year Action Plans are provided for your information. The City desires to reprogram HTF program funds to Fiscal Year 2019 and Fiscal Year 2020 projects that can utilize the funds immediately, in order to achieve HTF program goals more efficiently and expediently. The proposed revisions to the following projects are provided for your information.
Fiscal Year 2019 (Twenty-Fourth (24th) Action Plan)
AWARD REDUCTION OF $1,350,000
Hawaii Assisted Housing, Inc. – Na Lei Hulu Kupuna
Project Description: Redevelopment of nine (9) rental units for families at or below 30% AMI in a 75-unit rental housing project.
Proposed Amount: $0 (Originally $1,350,000)

Kinai ‘Eha Workforce Housing
Project Description: Acquisition of an existing duplex for five (5) rental housing units and supportive services for chronically homeless youth.

Mental Health Kokua – Mahani Hale
Project Description: Acquisition of a nine (9) bedroom single family dwelling that will provide five (5) permanent rental units for single unrelated homeless adults with the disability of serious mental illness at or below 30% AMI.
