COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM

Pursuant to the City and County of Honolulu’s (City) Citizen Participation Plan, the proposed reprogramming of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds is provided for your information. The City desires to reprogram CDBG funds from a prior year project and appropriate CDBG funds to Fiscal Year 2019 projects that can utilize the funds immediately, in order to achieve CDBG program goals more efficiently and expediently. The proposed revisions to the following Fiscal Year projects are provided for your information and use.

Department of Community Services – Community Based Development Division (CBDD)
Project Description: Administrative support of CBDD.

To expedite the expenditure of CDBG funds, HUD has waived the 30-day public comment requirement of 24 CFR 91.105(c)(2) and (k) and reduced the public comment period to 5 days.
