PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the order issued by the Supreme Court of the State of Hawaii in City and County of Honolulu, et al. v. State of Hawaii, et al., SCPW-18-0000733, I, SCOTT T. NAGO, Chief Election Officer of the State of Hawaii, do hereby proclaim that the following ballot question is invalid:

Shall the legislature be authorized to establish, as provided by law, a surcharge on investment real property to be used to support public education?

Any votes for or against the measure will not be counted and will have no impact.
