DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND PERMITTING
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Planning and Permitting (“DPP”) will hold a public hearing for the purpose of adopting rules to implement the City’s affordable housing requirements. The hearing will be held at the following date, time and location:

Date: Tuesday, November 20, 2018
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Place: Mission Memorial Conference Room
Mission Memorial Building
550 South King Street, Honolulu, Hawaii

The proposed rules implement Ordinance 18-10, establishing an Affordable Housing Requirement, and apply to affordable housing requirements as set forth in other discretionary approvals issued by DPP.

A copy of the proposed rules may be viewed at http://www.honoluludpp.org/ReportsNotices.aspx and is also available at the Department of Planning and Permitting, 7th Floor, Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building, 650 South King Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, during normal business hours (7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., M-F). A copy of the proposed rules can also be mailed to any interested party upon request to DPP at 768-8000 or info@honoluludpp.org. Mailings will be subject to copying and postage fees.

All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to submit written or oral testimony concerning the proposed rules. All written and oral submissions will be fully considered. Persons wishing to offer oral testimony may register on-site on the date and time of the hearing. Written testimony may be submitted prior to the hearing via facsimile to 808-768-4663 or mail to DPP, 650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96813. Written testimony may also be submitted in person at the public hearing. Only one copy of the written testimony is required.
