NOTICE
VIDEO MONITORING FOR THE
COMFORT STATION AT WAIMANALO DISTRICT PARK

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 2-32.3(b)(5), Revised Ordinances of Honolulu that the City and County of Honolulu (City) will be installing video surveillance cameras to monitor the comfort station at Waimanalo District Park. These cameras will be employed for the general prevention and deterrence of criminal activity and to ensure the safety and security of the public and community we serve. The video surveillance cameras will be used to achieve legitimate law enforcement objectives for legitimate public purposes. The video surveillance cameras will begin operating and recording 10 calendar days after publication of this legal notice.

The General Public may submit written comments on the video monitoring to the City Council and the Department of Facility Maintenance at the following addresses:

CAMERA LOCATIONS AT WAIMANALO DISTRICT PARK

Four (4) surveillance cameras will be installed at the comfort station in Waimanalo District Park. The fixed-position, infrared cameras will be located at various locations under the eaves around the comfort station and will operate continuously. The cameras will monitor the restroom entrances and the adjacent areas around the comfort station.
