$18,379 – $26,145 per month, Commensurate w/ Training & Experience The primary purpose of this Exempt, non-civil service appointment is to provide clinical leadership and to participate in overall planning, implementation, coordinating, and monitoring of program and service effectiveness of key services and program areas to assure the availability of a variety of care, treatment and related rehabilitation options as it relates to psychiatric services, and its integration into the continuum of care, to the seriously mentally ill. Qualifications: A M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent and completion of accredited psychiatric residency required. At least four years of experience in clinical psychiatry including at least two (2) years of experience in community mental health setting. Must be able to assume, when required, the duties and responsibilities of a direct care provider, and must provide such duties and responsibilities or the specific duties and responsibilities of this position on a 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week basis. Must be able to work flexible hours which includes evenings, weekends and holidays. License to practice medicine in Hawaii. Certificate of completion of psychiatric residency. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certificate.
