Traffic Schedule No. 2018-6
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2018-6 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
“Aipoola St., for its entire length.”
2. By amending thereto the following item:
Papipi Rd., from Pohakupuna Rd. to Fort Weaver Rd.; to read:
“Papipi Rd., for its entire length.”
b. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Aipoola St-Hamana St. Traffic on Aipoola St. shall stop before entering Hamana St.”
“Haiea Pl-Aipoola St. Traffic on Haiea Pl. shall stop before entering Aipoola St.”
“Hihimanu St-Poalima St. Traffic on Hihimanu St. shall stop before entering Poalima St.”
“Poalima St-Hihimanu St. Traffic on Poalima St. shall stop before entering Hihimanu St.”
“Poalima St-Poalima St. Traffic on Poalima St. shall stop before entering Poalima St.”
“Poalima Pl-Poalima St. Traffic on Poalima Pl. shall stop before entering Poalima St.”
e. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours by adding thereto the following item:
“Ohe St., both sides, between Ala Moana Blvd. and Ilalo St.”
f. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Aipoola St., within its turnaround area.”
“Papipi Rd., northern side, between Fort Weaver Rd. and Papipi Dr. (eastern intersection).”
“Papipi Rd., northern side, from Papipi Dr. (western intersection) to and including its turnaround area.”
“Papipi Rd., southern side, between its turnaround area and Pupu St.”
g. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by amending thereto the following item:
N. Beretania St. Bridge, at River St. shall have a weight limit of 16 tons; to read:
“N. Beretania St. Bridge at River St. shall have a weight limit of 33 tons.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
