Traffic Schedule No. 2018-5
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2018-5 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXVIII OF SECTION 15-17.2(d) ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PEDESTRIAN CROSSING ROADWAYS; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
“Alahoi St., for its entire length.”
“Hahana St., for its entire length.”
“Halekapio St., for its entire length.”
“Kuehu St., for its entire length.”
“Lelepua St., for its entire length.”
b. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Akepa St-Auhuhu St. Traffic on Akepa St. shall stop before entering Auhuhu St.”
“Ala Poko St-Farrington Hwy. Traffic on Ala Poko St. shall stop before entering Farrington Hwy.”
“Aumoana Pl-Kaneohe Bay Dr. Traffic on Aumoana Pl. shall stop before entering Kaneohe Bay Dr.”
“Hahana Pl-Hahana St. Traffic on Hahana Pl. shall stop before entering Hahana St.”
“Hahana St-Halekapio St. Traffic on Hahana St. shall stop before entering Halekapio St.”
“Hahana Wy-Hahana Pl. Traffic on Hahana Wy. shall stop befire entering Hahana Pl.”
“Halemoe Pl-Hiapo St. Traffic on Halemoe Pl. shall stop before entering Hiapo St.”
“Hiapo St-Hahana St. Traffic on Hiapo St. shall stop before entering Hahana St.”
“Hukilau Lp (southern leg)-Hukilau Lp. Traffic on Hukilau Lp (southern leg) shall stop before entering Hukilau Lp.”
“Hukilau Lp-Kaukonahua Rd. Traffic on Hukilau Lp. shall stop before entering Kaukonahua Rd.”
“Kaikua Pl-Hiapo St. Traffic on Kaikua Pl. shall stop before entering Hiapo St.”
“Kakala St-Manawai St. Traffic on Kakala St. shall stop before entering Manawai St.”
“Kuehu St-Kukulu St. Traffic on Kuehu St. shall stop before entering Kukulu St.”
“Kuehu St-Luakalai St. Traffic on Kuehu St. shall stop before entering Luakalai St.”
“Ohapali St-Hiapo St. Traffic on Ohapali St. shall stop before entering Hiapo St.”
“Meleikekai St-Papipi Rd. Traffic on Meleikekai St. shall stop before entering Papipi Rd.”
“Papipi Dr-Meleikekai St. Traffic on Papipi Dr. shall stop before entering Meleikekai St.”
“Pokai Bay St-Farrington Hwy. Traffic on Pokai Bay St. shall stop before entering Farrington Hwy.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following items:
“Auhuhu St.-Komo Mai Dr. Traffic on Auhuhu St. shall stop before entering Komo Mai Dr.”
“Papipi Rd-Pupu St. Traffic on Papipi Rd. shall stop before entering Pupu St.”
c. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
Alahoi St., eastern side, distance 60′ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Makakilo Dr.”
“Hahana Pl., within its turnaround area.”
“Hahana Wy., within its turnaround area.”
“Halekapio St., within both of its turnaround areas.”
“Halemoe Pl., within its turnaround area.”
“Kaikua St., within its turnaround area.
“Kuehu St., eastern side, distance 210′ northerly direction from a point 155′ north of the northern curb prolongation of Kukulu St.”
“Kuehu St., western side, distance 195′ southerly direction from a point 175′ south of the southern curb prolongation of Luakalai St.”
“Laaula Pl., eastern side, distance 50′ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Eulu St.”
“Ohapali St., within its turnaround area.”
“St. Louis Dr., odd-numbered side, (2400 block), between Noah and Peter Sts.”
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Kaneohe Bay Dr., Makapuu (eastern) side, distance 140′ makai (northerly) direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Laha St.; to read:
“Kaneohe Bay Dr., eastern side, from a point 140′ south of the southeastern curb prolongation of Laha St.”
Meleikekai St., both sides, from Kai Oio St. to Kai Weke St.; to read:
“Meleikekai St., both sides, for its entire length.”
Waipio Uka St., Koko Head side, distance 76′ mauka direction from a point 48′ makai curb prolongation of Akeu St.; to read:
“Waipio Uka St., southern side, distance 75′ easterly direction from a point 56′ west of the western curb prolongation of Akeu St.”
d. By amending Schedule XXVIII of Sec. 15-17.2(d) establishing restricted pedestrian crossing roadways by adding thereto the following item:
“Kailua Rd., the unmarked crosswalk across Kailua Rd. on the eastern side of the intersection of Kailua Rd. and Hahani St.”
e. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
“Tenth Ave. Pl. Bridge, at Tenth Ave. shall have a weight limit of 13 tons.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following items:
“Palolo Ave. Bridge, at Carlos Long St. shall have a weight limit of 13 tons.”
“Tenth Ave. Bridge, at Makanui Pl. shall have a weight limit of 13 tons.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
