NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Section 658D(b) of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 2014 (P.L. 113-186), notice is hereby given that the Department of Human Services will hold a public hearing to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the provisions of child care services under the State Plan for the Child Care and Development Fund FFY 2019-2021.

All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing on Oahu and state their views relative to the proposed State Plan either orally or in writing at the hearing. The public hearing will be held at the following location on Thursday, June 14, 2018, 9:00 a.m.:

Copies of the proposed State Plan will be available via the DHS website (http://humanservices.hawaii.gov/) or by calling (808) 586-7053 to request a copy. A copy of the proposed plan will be mailed at NO COST to any interested person requesting a copy.

Special accommodations (i.e., Sign Language interpreter, large print, taped materials, or accessible parking) can be made, if requested at least five (5) working days before the scheduled public hearings by contacting the DHS office listed above.
