A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE PROPOSED REVISED GENERAL PLAN FOR THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU (THE OAHU GENERAL PLAN)
The purpose of this resolution is to replace the existing Oahu General Plan (Resolution 02-205, CD1) and to adopt a new revised version of the Oahu General Plan. Per Section 6-1508 of the Revised Charter for the City and County of Honolulu (2017), the General Plan shall set forth the city’s objectives and broad policies for the long-range development of the city. It shall contain statements of the general social, economic, environmental and design objectives to be achieved for the general welfare and prosperity of the people of the city and the most desirable population distribution and regional development pattern.
The proposed revised General Plan is available for viewing at the Department of Planning and Permitting at 650 South King Street, 7th Floor, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or online at http://www.honoluludpp.org/Planning/GeneralPlan.aspx; and the State Library.

Public testimony is to be taken at the hearing by registering at the public hearing. Written testimony (15 copies) may be filed with the Planning Commission at least two business days before the date and time of the hearing. Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit written testimony. One copy may be faxed to 768-6743 or mailed (Planning Commission, 650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813).
