Request for Proposals: Feasibility Study on Using Tracker Dogs to Detect Rosy Wolf Snails, Jackson’s Chameleons, and Rats in Oahu Forests
This Request for Proposal is issued by the Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii (RCUH) to solicit proposals for the Oahu Army Natural Resources Program (OANRP). The project requires the services of a firm capable of providing a feasibility study on using tracker dogs to detect the three targeted predators listed above. The selected firm must have proven experience in successfully implementing tracker dog training programs, specifically for pest and predator detection as well as considerable knowledge of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) regulations and compliance with those regulations.
