NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Leeward Planning Commission of the County of Hawaii in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 6-7.5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawaii, and the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.

NEW BUSINESS – 1:30 p.m.
1. APPLICANT: KS OWNER, LLC (USE 17-000073)
Application for a Use Permit to allow the establishment of an 18-hole golf putting course on a portion of a 9.312-acre parcel of land within the Village Commercial – 10,000 square feet (CV-10) zoned district. Parking for the putting course will be provided on the adjacent 4.503-acre property to the south in the parking lot for the Kings’ Shops. The property is located at 250 Waikoloa Beach Drive and is the location of the Kings’ Shops, which is on the northwest corner of Pohakulana Place and Waikoloa Beach Drive, Waikoloa Beach Resort, South Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: (3) 6-9-008:005 por and 6-9-007:001.
The purpose of the public hearing is to afford all interested persons a reasonable opportunity to be heard on the above matter.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language interpretation to access this meeting, please contact the Planning Department at 961-8288 as soon as possible, but no later than five working days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for accommodations.  “Other reasonable modification” refers to communication methods or devices for people with disabilities who are mentally and/or physically challenged.
