PROJECT NAME: MAKIKI 180 RESERVOIR – REPLACE ALTITUDE VALVE ASSEMBLY
ISLAND: OAHU MOKU: KONA AHUPUA’A: MAKIKI

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The scope of work for this Board of Water Supply project involves the replacement of the existing altitude valve (AV), check valve, and emergency pump connection. This project involves electrical, mechanical, and civil work. The purpose of this project is to upgrade the water system to current standards and improve water service reliability, and efficiency. All work will be within the existing Makiki 180 Reservoir Site, TMK No. (1) 2-5-020:001.

PROPOSED PROJECT AREA:
DISTURBED AREA: 1,350 SQ FT.
TOTAL: 2.13 ACRES

POTENTIAL HISTORIC RESOURCES:
The existing Makiki Pump Station is more than 50 years old based on our review of record drawings for the station. This project will not make any visible modifications to the exterior of the control building.
