PUBLIC NOTICE REVISION
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM

On November 7, 2018, the City and County of Honolulu (City) published a Public Notice in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser proposing to reprogram CDBG funds to Fiscal Year 2019 projects that could utilize the funds immediately, in order to achieve CDBG program goals more efficiently and expediently. The City is issuing a revision to the Public Notice to revise CDBG funding proposed for Alternative Structures International, Child and Family Service, Family Promise, IHS, The Institute of Human Services, Inc., and Mental Health Kokua, totaling $597,225, whose projects will instead be funded with City funds. The City is also proposing to provide additional CDBG funds in the amount of $213,000, to the following projects:

Honolulu Fire Dept. – Central Engine Apparatus
Project Description: Acquisition of an engine apparatus for the Central Fire Station.
Fiscal Year: 2019 (24th Year Action Plan)
Funding Source: CDBG
Proposed Amount: $839,500 (originally $768,500)
Location: 104 South Beretania Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813

ADDITIONAL AWARD OF $71,000
Honolulu Fire Dept. – Kuakini Engine Apparatus
Project Description: Acquisition of an engine apparatus for the Kuakini Fire Station.
Fiscal Year: 2019 (24th Year Action Plan)
Funding Source: CDBG
Proposed Amount: $839,500 (originally $768,500)
Location: 601 North Kuakini Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817

Honolulu Fire Dept. – Wahiawa Engine Apparatus
Project Description: Acquisition of an engine apparatus for the Wahiawa Fire Station.

Location: 640 California Avenue, Wahiawa, Hawaii 96786
