INSURANCE EXAMINER II & III

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree
in accounting or related fi eld. Insurance or public
accounting experience preferred but not required.
LEGAL ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL
(Position #110690)
Position performs paralegal and administrative work
in support of attorneys and the Legal Branch. Provides
legal consultation services; performs legal research;
prepares drafts, outlines or summaries or legal subjects,
laws, statues, briefs and other legal documents.
STAFF ATTORNEY
(Position #101970, #113029)
Minimum requirements include a Juris Doctor degree
from an accredited law school. Position duties include
researching and interpreting statutory provisions and
case law; drafting legislation, legislative testimonies,
administrative rules, and hearing decisions; bringing
actions on behalf of the Insurance Division; advising the
Insurance Commissioner, the Insurance Division, and the
Department of the Attorney General; act as a hearing
offi cer or counsel.
