NOTICE TO BUSINESSES THAT STORE, USE, OR MANUFACTURE ANY HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE

Section 128E-6(2), HRS, the Hawaii Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (HEPCRA) mandates that the owner or operator of a facility in the State that stores, uses, or manufactures any hazardous substances may be required to submit a Tier II Chemical Inventory Report form and Filing fee by March 1 of each year to the Department of Health. The legislature of the State of Hawaii in the 2017 Regular Session has increased the yearly filing fee from $100 to $200 for each reporting facility, which became law effective July 1, 2017.
