HONOLULU FIRE COMMISSION (Commission)
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Commission of the City and County of Honolulu will hold a public hearing on December 20, 2017, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Honolulu Fire Department auditorium, 636 South Queen Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, to consider draft rules for the Commission.

All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and state their views relative to the proposed rules either orally or in writing. All written and oral submissions will be fully considered. Comments or testimony will be restricted solely to the proposed draft rules and not to the benefits/disadvantages of the underlying program. If written testimony is presented, it is strongly encouraged that ten copies be made available to the presiding officer seven days before the hearing to:

Copies of testimony or comments may also be provided to the presiding officer at the public hearing.

Copies of the proposed draft rules may be downloaded free of charge at
https://www.honolulu.gov/hfd/firecommission.html or contact Ms. Nadine Murata at nmurata@honolulu.gov for alternate arrangements.

If special accommodations (e.g., large print, taped materials, sign language interpreter, etc.) for the public hearing is needed, please forward requests to the Commission by e-mailing Ms. Murata at least ten days prior to the hearing.
