NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Sections 183-12, HRS, and 195-04, HRS DLNR hereby provides notice of public hearing on Maui for the proposed additions to Forest Reserves, Natural Area Reserves System (NARS), and Wildlife Sanctuaries. The hearing will also receive comments on proposed amendments to the NARS rules.

The public hearing will be held at 5:00 pm, March 2, 2023, at the Kahului Community Center, 275 Uhu Street, Kahului, HI 96732 in Maui.
All interested persons are urged to attend the public hearing to present relevant information and individual opinion for the DLNR to consider. Proposals, maps, online commenting, and instructions for mail-in or in-person comments are available here: https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/dofaw/comment/ Those without internet access may call (808) 587-4170 for more information.
