Public Notice
The County of Hawai’i, through the Department of Water Supply, intends to file an application for financial assistance with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Development, Rural Utilities Service, for the Iki Place Water System Improvements project. Major elements of the proposed project are to install a water main, fire hydrants, service laterals and meters. The project is intended to provide reliable and safe water service, as well as adequate fire protection to the residents of the subdivision.
The subdivision is located at Kohanaiki, North Kona, Hawai’i. The subdivision was created in 1962; however, water service was not available at that time.
