INVITATION FOR BIDS
PARKING CONCESSION CONTRACT FOR PARKING LOT CONCESSION
AT THE LAHAINA SMALL BOAT HARBOR
IFB No. LM-19-003 (Portion of) TMK (2)4-6-001:002
The State of Hawaii, Board of Land and Natural Resources, is issuing an Invitation for Bids ("IFB") to qualified parties interested in a Parking Lot Concession of state-owned lands within the LAHAINA Small Boat Harbor situated at LAHAINA Maui, Hawaii, (LSBH), pursuant to Chapter 102, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
Before any prospective bidder shall be entitled to submit a bid, the prospective bidder must meet the minimum qualifications set forth in the IFB and shall submit a completed Qualification Questionnaire and give written notice of intent to bid on the Notice of Intention to Bid form by 4:00 P.M. January 24, 2020, to the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation of the Department of Land and Natural Resources, 4 Sand Island Access Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819.
Prior to permitting any interested party to bid, the Department or Land and Natural Resources shall satisfy itself of the prospective bidder’s financial ability, experience, qualifications, and competence to carry out the terms and conditions of the concession contract that may be awarded.
SEALED BIDS are due on or before 4:00 P.M. on February 24, 2020, at the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation of the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii, located at 4 Sand Island Access Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819.
A SEALED BID must be accompanied by a bid deposit required by and in conformance with section 102-6, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
SEALED BIDS timely and properly received will be publicly opened at 4:00 P.M. on February 24, 2020 , at the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation of the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii, located at 4 Sand Island Access Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819.
The IFB, including required forms for bidding, qualifications, specifications and contract, may be obtained from the above-named office during the regular hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday except on holidays.
