NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism; Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC), will hold a virtual public hearing on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. to amendment Chapter 15-307, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR), “State Assisted Land and Housing Development Program”. Written testimony on these proposed rule-making actions will be accepted through May 19, 2026, at the following address: HHFDC, Attention: Hunter Miller; 677 Queen Street, Suite 300; Honolulu, Hawaii 96813; or via email to hunter.m.miller@hawaii.gov.
The proposed amendments to Chapter 15-307, Hawaii Administrative Rules, will update the fee schedule and implement the provisions of Act 38, Session Laws of Hawaii 2024, by establishing an alternative exemption pathway in which a proposed housing project may qualify for the 201H Exemptions program.
The public hearing will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on May 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. For more information, visit HHFDC’s website:
