NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

REQUEST FOR COMMENTS
The City and County of Honolulu, Department of Community Services (DCS), will hold a public hearing on its Draft Fiscal Year 2026 Public Housing Agency Annual Plan and Proposed Administrative Rules on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at 51 Merchant Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. Copies are available for review at the locations listed starting today and ending at close of business on the day of the public hearing during normal business hours: Monday through Friday, except state holidays, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The draft documents are available on the City’s internet site at this webpage: https://www8.honolulu.gov/dcs/dcs-cad-public-housing-authority-plans-administrative-plans-rules/. Copies are also available at the Section 8 Offices located at 842 Bethel Street, 1st Floor, Honolulu, and at Kapolei Hale, 1000 Ulu`ohi`a Street, #118, Kapolei. Copies will be mailed at no charge to any interested person who submits an email request to allison.mikuni@honolulu.gov or a written request to the address below.

All interested persons are invited to provide comments either orally or in writing. All oral and written testimony presented at the public hearing will be considered. Written comments may be presented to the presiding officer at the public hearing, or mailed to the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Community Services, 51 Merchant Street, 2nd Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, ATTN: A. Mikuni. Written comments may also be faxed to (808) 768-7095. Comments not presented at the public hearing will be accepted through mail, fax, or email by 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2025.
