Notice of Funding Availability

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

The City and County of Honolulu Department of Community Services, through its Department of Budget and Fiscal Services Purchasing Division, is soliciting applications from private nonprofit agencies for the following program:

Funding is available through the COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM, authorized under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Public Law 93-383, as amended 42 U.S.C.-530.1 et seq. Approximately $723,473.00 is anticipated to be available for public service projects that provide job training and employment services to low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons.

Interested agencies may download the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) packet at https://hands.ehawaii.gov/hands/opportunities under “Bidding Opportunities.”

Applications must be submitted to the Department of Budget and Fiscal Services Purchasing Division at Honolulu Hale, 530 South King Street, Room 115, Honolulu, Hawai’i by the date and time as stated in the NOFA packet, as amended.
