Traffic Schedule No. 2023-2
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule I of Sec. 15-6.2(a) establishing traffic signals (City) by adding thereto the following items:

“Aiea Heights Rd.- Halewiliko St.”

“Kapolei Parkway – Kinoiki St.”

b. By amending Schedule II of Sec. 15-6.2(b) establishing traffic signals on Federal-aid Highway (State) by adding thereto the following item:

“Kahekili Hwy – Kapuhipa St.”

c. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Hualani St., for its entire length.”

d. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Akipola St., for its entire length.”

“Apii St., for its entire length.”

“Hilinai St., for its entire length.”

“Hookupa St., for its entire length.”

“Hoolehua St., for its entire length.”

“Kahuanani St., for its entire length.”

“Mahinui Rd., for its entire length.”

“Waihona St., for its entire length.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Hualani St., for its entire length.”

e. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following item:

“Kapolei Parkway. No “U” turn from Kapolei Pkwy., at the median break fronting East Kapolei Fire Station 43 in both directions.”

f. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11.2(c) establishing yield right-of-way in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Aiea Heights Dr.-Hakina St. traffic on Aiea Heights Rd. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic on Hakina St.”

“Kapolei Parkway – Kinoiki St. traffic northbound on Kinoiki St., making a right turn into Kapolei Parkway shall yield the right-of-way to the eastbound traffic on Kapolei Parkway.”

“Kapolei Parkway – Kinoiki St. traffic westbound on Kapolei Parkway, making a right turn into Kinoiki St. shall yield the right-of-way to the northbound traffic on Kinoiki St.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Hale Laa Blvd. – Kulanui St. southbound traffic on Hale Laa Blvd. shall yield the right-of way to traffic in the roundabout.; to read:

“Hale Laa Blvd. – Kulanui St. eastbound traffic on Hale Laa Blvd. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout.”

Hale Laa Blvd. – Kulanui St. northbound traffic on Hale Laa Blvd. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout.; to read:

“Hale Laa Blvd. – Kulanui St. westbound traffic on Hale Laa Blvd. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout.”

Hale Laa Blvd. – Naniloa Lp. eastbound traffic on Naniloa Lp. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout.; to read:

“Hale Laa Blvd. – Naniloa Lp. northbound traffic on Naniloa Lp. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout.”

g. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following items:

“Anaaina Pl. shall stop before entering Apii St.”

“Apii Pl. shall stop before entering Apii St.”

“Hoolehua St. Addresses: 1914, 1916, 1918, 1920 shall stop before entering Hoolehua St.”

“Hoopuhi St. shall stop before entering Plantation Rd.”

“Hualani St. shall stop before entering Oneawa St.”

“Kamani Ln. shall stop before entering Haleiwa Rd.”

“Lau Pl. shall stop before entering Kamehameha Hwy.”

“Oawa St.-Hoanu St. traffic on Oawa St. shall stop before entering Hoanu St.”

h. By amending Schedule XVII of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(4) establishing tow zones–AM peak by amending thereto the following items:

Kahuhipa St., Makapuu side, distance 375′ makai direction, commencing from the mauka property line of 46-304 Kahuhipa St., 6 to 9 AM, Monday thru Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.; to read:

“Kahuhipa St., southern side, distance 284′ mauka direction, from the mauka curb prolongation of Kahekili Hwy, 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, except for Saturdays, Sundays, and State Holidays.”

i. By amending Schedule XIX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(6) establishing tow zone–AM/PM peak in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

“Ward Ave., Koko Head side, from a point 500′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kapiolani Blvd. to a point 120′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of S. King St., 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, except Saturdays, Sundays, and State Holidays.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 53′ mauka direction from a point 191′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Boulevard.”

“Ward Ave., Koko Head side, from a point 500′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kapiolani Blvd. to a point 120′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of S.King St., 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturdays, Sundays, and State Holidays."

j. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zone–24 hours in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

“McCully St., Koko Head side, between Ala Wai Blvd. and Algaroba St.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

McCully St., Ewa side, from S. Beretania St. to Waiola St.; to read:

“McCully St., Ewa side, between S. Beretania St. and Kapiolani Blvd.”

3. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“McCully St., Koko Head side, between Algaroba St. to a point 110′ mauka direction from mauka curb prolongation of King St.”

k. By amending Schedule XXI of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(8) establishing tow zones–specified times in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

“Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 53′ mauka direction from a point 191′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Boulevard 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, Monday thru Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays, and State Holidays. 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday thru Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays, and State Holidays.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Koka St., southbound traffic in the eastern most lane must turn left at Kolowaka Dr.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
