PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu under Chapter 21, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, as amended, for the following application at the date and the time specified or soon thereafter:

Pursuant to the Emergency Proclamation Related to COVID-19 (Omicron Variant) issued by Governor David Ige on January 26, 2022, relating to the COVID-19 pandemic (Proclamation), in order to allow public participation in a manner consistent with social distancing practices the following procedures are in effect for the meeting. City staff, attendees and the public may be participating via the online meeting venue. Information on how the public may participate in the meeting is provided below.

The original request involved renovating and expanding an existing dwelling to convert it into a meeting facility that typically operates with a congregation of about 35 members. Join in person: The City is exercising a good faith effort to provide this option to members of the public who are unable to attend the meeting via phone or Webex.

Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit testimony. Written testimony may be emailed to info@honoluludpp.org, faxed to 808-768-6743, or mailed to 650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. Written testimony must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022. Testimony to the Department prior to the hearing will be considered in the evaluation of the request.
