CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT (CARES ACT)
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CORONAVIRUS (CDBG CV)

Through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) passed by the United States Congress on March 27, 2020, as Public Law 116-136, the City was awarded $14,407,491.00 in Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG CV) funds. Pursuant to the City and County of Honolulu’s (City) Citizen Participation Plan, the proposed amendments to the City’s Twenty-Fifth (25th) Year Action Plan are provided for your information and use.

DELETION OF AWARD

Mental Health Kokua – Kinau Townhouse 1 Group Home
Project Description: Acquisition of a property to provide a group home for persons with severe mental illness, eligible under 24 CFR § 570.201(a) and meeting the CDBG national objective of serving severely disabled persons as described in 24 CFR
§ 570.208(a)(2)(i)(A).

homelessness as described in 24 CFR § 570.208(a)(2)(i)(A).
