NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS (HOME) PROGRAMS
COMMUNITY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS (CHDO)
The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Community Services, through its Department of Budget and Fiscal Services Purchasing Division, is soliciting applications from private nonprofit agencies that have been officially certified by the City as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), or have a pending application to become a CHDO by the submission deadline of this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for federal funding from the City’s HOME Programs for Fiscal Year 2023.
The City anticipates that it will award up to approximately $475,000 in HOME funds, subject to funding availability, to CHDOs in Fiscal Year 2023, from a new allotment of funds for FY 2023. The City is seeking projects that will enable it to achieve the goals and objectives published in its Draft Consolidated Plan for Fiscal Years 2021-2025. Interested agencies may download the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) packet at https://hands.ehawaii.gov/hands/ under “Bidding Opportunities.”
Applications must be submitted to the Department of Budget and Fiscal Services Purchasing Division at Honolulu Hale, 530 South King Street, Room 115, Honolulu, Hawaii by the date and time as stated in the NOFA packet, as amended.
