NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED BEACH RESTORATION PROJECT WITHIN THE CONSERVATION DISTRICT
The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), State of Hawai’i, pursuant to Chapter 183C, Hawaii Revised Statutes, will hold a public hearing in the City & County of Honolulu to receive testimony on a proposal to perform a beach restoration project at Ala Moana Beach Park in urban Honolulu. The public hearing shall be held on:

On January 30, 2020 the Department of Land and Natural Resources accepted a Conservation District Use Application (CDUA) OA-3858 for a beach restoration project at the Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu, at Tax Map Keys (1) 2-3-037: 001 and 025, and seaward of both parcels. The request for this beach restoration project may be found on the OCCL website: http://dlnr.hawaii.gov/occl/current-applications/
Any person may testify or present information on the application. Disabled individuals planning to attend the hearing are asked to contact Salvatore Saluga of the DLNR’s Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands at (808) 587-0377 at least five days in advance of the public hearing to indicate if they have special needs which require accommodations.
