NATIONAL HOUSING TRUST FUND PROGRAM
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements regarding the City and County of Honolulu’s (City) Consolidated Plan, the City hereby provides a list of anticipated projects for the City’s Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2019 (July 30, 2018-June 30, 2019) and Fiscal Year 2020 (July 30, 2019-June 30, 2020) that the City proposes to undertake to address the needs identified in the Consolidated Plan to address affordable housing and community development needs.

Halewai’olu Senior Development, LLC – Halewai’olu Senior Residences $1,350,000
Demolition of existing structure and new construction of a mixed-use
17-story, 156 unit affordable rental housing for seniors (62 years or older).
Location: 1331-1347 River Street, Honolulu.

Kinai ‘Eha Workforce Housing $889,430
Acquisition of existing duplex for rental housing and supportive services
for chronically homeless youths.
Location: 443 Kawainui Street, Kailua Town.
Mental Health Kokua – Mahani Hale $460,570
Acquisition of a single-family home for recovery based permanent group
home for homeless adults with disability of mental illness.
Location: 1731 Mahani Loop, Honolulu

for low-income families who are temporarily displaced during rehabilitation
of housing or construction of a new home.
Location: 3632 Salt Lake Blvd, #A-3, Honolulu
Acquisition of a 1 bedroom condominium unit for temporary housing
for low-income families who are temporarily displaced during rehabilitation
of housing or construction of a new home.
Location: 1088 Bishop Street, #2105, Honolulu

Honolulu Habitat for Humanity – Uhilehua and Ala Koa Street Houses $411,722
New construction of 2 single-family homes for affordable homeownership.
Location: 45-610 Uhilehua Street and 41-746 Ala Koa, Lot 79, Waimanalo
