PUBLIC NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT NON-COMPLIANCE (SNC)
WITH APPLICABLE PRETREATMENT REQUIREMENTS
To comply with the public participation requirements of Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations part 25 in the enforcement of national pretreatment standards, the City and County of Honolulu, Department of Environmental Services is hereby providing an annual public notification of Significant Industrial Users (SIU) who, at anytime during the period occurring from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017, were in Significant Noncompliance with applicable pretreatment requirement.

Violation: 40 CFR 403.8(f)(2)(viii)(B) – MGD is in significant noncompliance under the following criteria: (1) Chronic for failing four (4) out of five (5) total measurements for Oil and Grease (O&G); and (2) Technical Review Criteria (TRC) for failing two (2) of five (5) measurements for O&G.
