Traffic Schedule No. 2018-8
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2018-8 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVI OF SECTION 15-16.1 ESTABLISHING TIME LIMIT PARKING; SCHEDULE XXVII OF SECTION 15-17.1 ESTABLISHING CROSSWALKS (MIDBLOCKS) ; SCHEDULE XXX OF SECTION 15-22.1(a) ESTABLISHING PARKING METER ZONES.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
“Anaha St., for its entire length.”
“Hoomaemae St., for its entire length.”
“Lelewalo St., for its entire length.”
“Leomele St., for its entire length.”
b. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following items:
“Kaikaina St. No right turn from Kaikaina St. into Makawao St. in the easterly direction.”
“Park Row. No “U” turn from Park Row at Garton/Alanui Mauka Sts. in both directions.”
c. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following items:
“Aipoola Pl-Aipoola St. Traffic on Aipoola Pl. shall stop before entering Aipoola St.”
“Hoalua St-Kamehameha Hwy (State). Traffic on Hoalua St. shall stop before entering Kamehameha Hwy (State).”
“Hoomaemae St-Waimano Home Rd. Traffic on Hoomaemae St. shall stop before entering Waimano Home Rd.”
“Kipapa Dr-Lelewalo St. Traffic on Kipapa Dr. shall stop before entering Lelewalo St.”
“Lalai St-Kipapa Dr. Traffic on Lalai St. shall stop before entering Kipapa Dr.”
“Leomele St-Waimano Home Rd. Traffic on Leomele St. shall stop before entering Waimano Home Rd.”
“Maluawai St-Leomele St. Traffic on Maluawai St. shall stop before entering Leomele St.”
d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Aipoola Pl., odd-numbered side, from the eastern curb prolongation of Aipoola St. to a point 215′ south of its terminus.”
“Aipoola Pl., within its turnaround area.”
“Aipoola Pl., even-numbered side, from a point 265′ south of its terminus to the eastern curb prolongation of Aipoola St.”
“Anaha St., southern side, distance 45′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Pakeke St.”
“Haiku Rd., eastern side, distance 125′ northerly direction from a point 100′ south of the southern curb prolongation of Haiku Plantation Dr.”
“Hoomaemae St., northern side, distance 300′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Hoolaulea St., 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 2:30 p.m., school days only.”
“Hoomaemae St., southern side, distance 715′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Hoolaulea St., 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., school days only.”
“Hoomaemae St., southern side, distance 85′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Waimano Home Rd.”
“Kinau St., mauka side, distance 70′ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Makiki St.”
“Kulukeoe St., northern side, distance 103′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Keneke St.”
“Kulukeoe St., southern side, distance 138′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Keneke St.”
“Park Row, eastern side, distance 80′ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Alanui Mauka St.”
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Ala Wai Blvd., distance 160′ makai direction starting from 300′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.; to read:
“Ala Wai Blvd., distance 109′ makai direction from a point 264′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.”
Hoalua St., mauka (south-eastern) side, distance 445′ Waialua (easterly) direction from the Waialua curb prolongation of Kahauola St.; to read:
“Hoalua St., mauka (eastern) side, from Opuola St. to a point 500′ southwest of the southwestern curb prolongation of Kahauola St.”
Koauka Lp. (makai intersection), makai side, distance approximately 60′ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Koauka St.; to read:
“Koauka Lp. (makai intersection), makai side, distance approximately 70′ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Koauka St.”
Kulawea St., Ewa side, from a point 105′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ulune St. to Aiea Intermediate School’s propert line at 99-600 Kulawea St., 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. school days only; to read:
“Kulawea St., western side, northerly direction, from a point 30′ north of the northern curb prolongation of Kulawea Pl. to Aiea Intermediate School’s property line at 99-600 Kulawea St., 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. school days only.”
Kulawea St., Koko Head side, from Ulune St. to Aiea Intermediate School’s property line at 99-600 Kulawea St., 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. school days only; to read:
“Kulawea St., eastern side, from Ulune St. to Aiea Intermediate School’s property line at 99-600 Kulawea St., 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. school days only.”
Kulawea St., Ewa side, distance 105′ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Ulune St.; to read:
“Kulawea St., western side, southerly direction, from a point 30′ north of the northern curb prolongation of Kulawea Pl. to the northern curb prolongation of Halewiliko St.”
3. By deleting therefrom the following items:
“Hoomaemae St., both sides, between Hoolana St. and Hoolehua St., 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 2:30 p.m., school days.”
“Hoomaemae St., makai side, distance 30′ both sides of Pearl City Recreation Center Koko Head exit driveway 785 Hoomaemae St.”

e. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by deleting therefrom the following items:
“Pepeekeo St., Ewa side, distance 150′ mauka direction from a point 18′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Pepeekeo Pl.”
“Pepeekeo St., Ewa side, distance 150′ mauka direction from a point 87′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Hawaii Kai Dr.”
f. By amending Schedule XXVI of Sec. 15-16.1 establishing time limit parking by adding thereto the following items:
“Kaimuki Ave. (2 hrs.), makai side, between Kapiolani Blvd and Kapahulu Ave., 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, except Sundays and State holidays.”
“Lunalilo St. (2 hrs.), both sides, between Kinau St. and its terminus, 7:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, except Sundays and State holidays.”
g. By amending Schedule XXVII of Sec. 15-17.1 establishing crosswalks by adding thereto the following item:
“Hawaii Kai Dr., 10′ wide, the centerline of which shall be approximately 380′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Hapuna Pl.”
h. By amending Schedule XXX of Sec. 15-22.1(a) establishing parking meter zones by adding thereto the following items:
“Kaimuki Ave., makai side, between Kapiolani Blvd. and Kapahulu Ave.”
“Lunalilo St., both sides, between Kinau St. and its terminus.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
