Traffic Schedule No. 2018-2
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2018-2 TO AMEND SCHEDULE I OF SECTION 15-6.2(a) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS (CITY); SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XII OF SECTION 15-10.1(b) ESTABLISHING ONE-WAY STREETS; SCHEDULE XIII OF SECTION 15-11.2(c) ESTABLISHING YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVII OF SECTION 15-17.1 ESTABLISHING CROSSWALKS; SCHEDULE XXXIV OF SECTION 15-18.3(c) ESTABLISHING BICYCLE LANES; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule I of Sec. 15-6.2(a) establishing traffic signals (City) by adding thereto the following item:

"Kalaeloa Blvd-Kapolei Parkway."

b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following item:

"Kauhale St., for its entire length."

c. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following items:

"Kapolei Parkway. No "U" turn from Kapolei Parkway at Kapolei Commons (middle driveway) in both directions."

"Kapolei Parkway. No "U" turn from Kapolei Parkway at Kapolei Commons (western driveway) from west bound to east bound direction."

"Kapolei Parkway. No "U" turn from Kapolei Parkway at Kalaeloa Blvd. in both directions."

d. By amending Schedule XII of Sec. 15-10.1(b) establishing one-way streets by adding thereto the following item:

"Kaelepulu Dr., makai direction, between Aalapapa Dr. and Mokulua Dr."

e. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11.2(c) by adding thereto the following items:

"Kapolei Parkway-Kalaeloa Blvd. Traffic on Kapolei Parkway making a right turn into Kalaeloa Blvd in the northerly direction shall yield the right-of-way to traffic on Kalaeloa Blvd."

"Kapolei Parkway-Kalaeloa Blvd. Traffic on Kapolei Parkway making a right turn into Kalaeloa Blvd in the southerly direction shall yield the right-of-way to traffic on Kalaeloa Blvd."

"Kapolei Parkway-Kapolei Commons. Traffic on Kapolei Parkway making a right turn into Kapolei Commons in the northerly direction shall yield the right-of-way to traffic entering Kapolei Commons (middle driveway) from Kapolei Parkway east bound."

f. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

"Iwaiwa Pl-Iwaiwa St. Traffic on Iwaiwa Pl. shall stop before entering Iwaiwa St."

"Iwaiwa Wy-Iwaiwa Pl. Traffic on Iwaiwa Wy. shall stop before entering Iwaiwa Pl."

"Kaelepulu Dr-Mokulua Dr. Traffic on Kaelepulu Dr. shall stop before entering Mokulua Dr."

"Kauhale St., addresses at 99-012, 99-012A, 99-012A1 to H, 99-018, 99-018A–Kauhale St. Traffic on 99-012, 99-012A, 99-012A1 to H, 99-018, 99-018A Kauhale St. shall stop before entering Kauhale St."

"Kauhale St., addresses at 99-021, 99-021A and B, 99-029, 99-029A to C–Kauhale St. Traffic on 99-021, 99-021A and B, 99-029, 99-029A to C Kauhale St. shall stop before entering Kauhale St."

"Mikalemi St-Ieie Pl. Traffic on Mikalemi St. shall stop before entering Ieie Pl."

"Mikalemi St., addresses at 99-141 and 99-151–Mikalemi St. Traffic on 99-141 and 99-151 Mikalemi St. shall stop before entering Mikalemi St."

g. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

"Ala Mahamoe St., Ewa side, distance 65′ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Jarrett White Rd."

"Iwaiwa Pl., within its turnaround area."

"Kaelepulu Dr., Kahuku side, between Aalapapa Dr. and Mokulua Dr."

"Kapolei Parkway, both sides, between Kalaeloa Blvd. and its western terminus except for portions covered under Schedule 25."

"Kukulu St., northern side, from Kunehi St. to and including its turnaround area."

"Kukulu St., southern side, distance 240′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Kunehi St."

"Kukulu St., southern side, distance 100′ easterly direction from a point 30′ west of the western curb prolongation of Malamalama St."

"Kupuohi Pl., within its turnaround area."

2. By amending thereto the following item:

Mololani Pl., west side, for its entire length; to read:

"Mololani Pl., western side, for its entire length and including its turnaround area."

h. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

"Dillingham Blvd., makai side, distance 150′ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Kohou St."

2. By deleting therefrom the following items:

"Dillingham Blvd., makai side, distance 150′ Ewa direction from a point 19′ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of 1190 Dillingham Blvd."

"Dillingham Blvd., mauka side, distance 150′ Ewa direction from a point 56′ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of 1190 Dillingham Blvd."

i. By amending Schedule XXVII of Sec. 15-17.1 establishing crosswalks by deleting therefrom the following item:

"University Ave., between Metcalf and Dole Sts., vicinity of old gym."

j. By amending Schedule XXXIV of Sec. 15-18.3(c) establishing bicycle lanes by adding thereto the following item:

"Kapolei Parkway, both sides, between Fort Barrett Rd. and its western terminus."

k. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following items:

"Iwaiwa Pl., for its entire length, the speed limit shall be 20 m.p.h."

"Kaelepulu Dr., 1 anti-speed bump from the makai curb prolongation of Aalapapa Dr. along the centerline in the makai direction.

No. 1. . . . 270′."

"Kimo Dr. Bridge, between Old Pali Rd. and Kaohinani Dr., shall have a weight limit of 20 tons."

"Kolowaka Dr., east bound traffic in the northern most lane must turn left at Keaunui Dr."

"Kolowaka Dr., east bound traffic in the southern lane must turn right at Keaunui Dr."

"N. Kuakini St. Bridges (Nuuanu Stream and Puehuehu Stream), between Liliha St. and Nuuanu Ave., shall have a weight limit of 23 tons."

"Pelekane Dr. Bridge, between Dowsett Ave. and Kaohinani Dr., shall have a weight limit of 25 tons."

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
