Notice is given that the following vessels:        Item No. 1501, No Name, No Registration, a 16’ wood barge; Item No. 1502, No Name, No Registration, a 32’ wood sailing vessel; Item No. 1503, "SCIMITAR", Reg. No. HA 2292 C, a beached 38’ steel sailing vessel; have been impounded by the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation, 4 Sand Island Access Road #19, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96819.
Vessel Item No’s. 1501, 1502, and 1503 shall be disposed of as junk pursuant to Section 200-16, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS). The person(s) entitled to possession may repossess and remove same prior to May 18, 2015 upon payment of all harbor use fees and impound related expenses incurred in connection with the vessel.
An owner of personal property on or within these impounded vessels may claim their personal property by making a written request to the Administrator of the Division of Boating & Ocean Recreation that includes satisfactory proof of ownership.  Any personal property valued at less than $1,000.00 on or within these impounded vessels not claimed by May 18, 2015 shall be disposed of as junk.  These vessels are under the custody of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.  Trespassing is prohibited.

  Pursuant to Chapter 523A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and based upon reports filed with the Director of Finance, State of Hawaii, the names of persons appearing to be owners of abandoned property are available at the following internet site: http://www.unclaimedproperty.hawaii.gov/.
The term abandoned property refers to personal property such as money, bank accounts, certificates of deposit, negotiable instruments, gift certificates, credit balances, insurance refunds, etc. that in most cases, have remained inactive for a period of at least 5 years.  Abandoned property as used in this context, has no reference to real estate.
  A proof of claim must be presented by the owner to the holder prior to April 20, 2009.  If the proof of claim is not presented by the owner to the holder and/or if the owner’s right to receive the property is not established to the holder’s satisfaction before the above prescribed date, the abandoned property will be placed in the custody of the Director of Finance, State of Hawaii, not later than May 1, 2009.  All proof of claims must then be submitted to the Director of Finance, State of Hawaii.

Information concerning the description of the property may be obtained by persons possessing an interest in the property by addressing an inquiry to the Unclaimed     Property Program, State of Hawaii, P.O. have been impounded at the Wailua River Marina by the Department of Land and   Natural Resources, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation, 333 Queen Street, #300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.

The abandoned property shall be destroyed and disposed of as junk pursuant to   section 171-31.5, and or Chapter 200, Hawaii Revised Statutes. The person(s) entitled to possession may repossess and remove same prior to June 1, 2006, upon payment of all harbor use fees and impound related expenses incurred in connection with the   property.

An owner of personal property on or within the abandoned property may claim their personal property by making a written request to the Administrator of the Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation that includes satisfactory ownership. any personal   property valued at less than $1,000.00 on or within the impounded property not   claimed by June 1, 2006, shall be disposed of as junk. The abandoned property is   under the custody of the Department of Land and Natural Resources.

Trespassing is prohibited.
