Certificate of Need

The Agency has received the following certificate of need applications for administrative review: #19-17A from Hilo SNF, LLC for the acquisition of the 100 bed Skilled Nursing/Intermediate Care Facility (SNF/ICF) located at 516 Kaumana Drive, Hilo, HI, at a capital cost of $17,500,000; #19-18A from USRC Hilo, LLC for the establishment of chronic renal dialysis services at 111 E. Puainako Street, Suite No. 655, Hilo, HI, at a capital cost of $15,406,824. Pursuant to Section 323D-44.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, any interested person may request a public meeting on an application before the Agency renders its decision. Any request for a public meeting must be submitted in writing and directed to the Administrator, at the address provided below. Any such request must be received by the Agency within seven (7) days of the publication date of this notice by 4:30 p.m. HST.
