Traffic Schedule No. 2019-9
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2019-9 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXI OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(8) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–SPECIFIED TIMES; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXXIV OF SECTION 15-18.3(c) ESTABLISHING BICYCLE LANES.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:

“Kaipii St., for its entire length.”

“Naluahi St., for its entire length.”

b. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Haakei St-Renton Rd. Traffic on Haakei St. shall stop before entering Renton Rd.”

“Hekuawa St-Kuanoo St. Traffic on Hekuawa St. shall stop before entering Kuanoo St.”

“Hokuikekai St-Kai Oio St. Traffic on Hokuikekai St. shall stop before entering Kai Oio St.”

“Kai Oio St-Kaiee St. Traffic on Kai Oio St. shall stop before entering Kaiee St.”

“Kaipapau Lp-Kamehameha Hwy. Traffic on Kaipapau Lp. shall stop before entering Kamehameha Hwy.”

“Naluahi St-Farrington Hwy. Traffic on Naluahi St. shall stop before entering Farrington Hwy.”

“Paalaa Rd-Kamehameha Hwy. Traffic on Paalaa Rd. shall stop before entering Kamehameha Hwy.”

“Waina St-Kuanoo St. Traffic on Waina St. shall stop before entering Kuanoo St.”

c. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours by deleting therefrom the following items:

“Pamoa Rd., makai side, distance 70′ Koko Head direction from a point 33′ Ewa of the Ewa property line of 2639 Pamoa Rd.”

“Pamoa Rd., odd-numbered side, distance 13′ between the driveway of 2667A and 2671 Pamoa Rd.”

“Pamoa Rd., makai side, from a point 42′ Ewa of the Ewa property line of 2695 Pamoa Rd. to the driveway of St. Francis School located at 2707 Pamoa Rd.”

d. By amending Schedule XXI of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(8) establishing tow zones–specified times by deleting therefrom the following items:

“Pamoa Rd., odd-numbered side, between Kolowalu St. and Alaula Wy., 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., school days only.”

“Pamoa Rd., makai side, from the Koko Head property line of 2605 Pamoa Rd. to a point 42′ Ewa of the Ewa property line of 2695 Pamoa Rd., 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., school days only.”

e. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Kai Oio St., eastern side, distance 140′ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Hokuikekai St.”

“Kai Oio St., eastern side, distance 320′ northerly direction from a point 355′ north of the northern curb prolongation of Hokuikekai St.”

“Kai Oio St., eastern side, distance 150′ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Kaiee St.”

“Kai Oio St., western side, distance 395′ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Kaiee St.”

“Kailua Rd., Kahuku side, right-turn channelized lane on Kailua Rd. at Kailua-Kuulei-Oneawa junction.”

“Kuanoo St., northern side, westerly direction, from its eastern turnaround area to a point 625′ west of the western curb prolongation of Hekuawa St.”

Kuanoo St., within its eastern turnaround area.”

“Meheula Pkwy., odd-numbered side, from the southern curb prolongation of Kamaio St. to Kuahelani Ave. (southern-most intersection)."

“Ohe St., both sides, between Ilalo and Olomehani Sts.”

“Pamoa Rd., odd-numbered side, distance 53′ makai direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Kolowalu St.”

“Pamoa Rd., odd-numbered side, distance 81′ mauka direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Alaula Wy.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Kai Oio St., western side, from Hokuikekai St. to Meleikekai St.; to read:

“Kai Oio St., western side, from a point 350′ north of the northern curb prolongation of Hokuikekai St. to Meleikekai St.”

Kuanoo St., southern side, for its entire length (City-owned portion); to read:

“Kuanoo St., southern side, distance 975′ easterly direction from a point 160′ west of the western curb prolongation of Kuanoo Pl.”

St. Louis Dr., even-numbered side, from a point 47′ Ewa of the Koko Head property line of 1808 St. Louis Dr. to the Koko Head property line of 1756 St. Louis Dr.; to read:

“St. Louis Dr., even-numbered side, from a point 59′ Ewa of the Koko Head property line of 1808 St. Louis Dr. to the Koko Head property line of 1756 St. Louis Dr.”

f. By amending Schedule XXXIV of Sec. 15-18.3(c) establishing bicycle lanes by adding thereto the following item:

“Meheula Pkwy., odd-numbered side, between Kamaio St. and Kuahelani Ave. (southern-most intersection).”
