Salary commensurate w/ training & experience Exempt, permanent non-civil service appointment. This position serves as the Administrator of the Hawaii State Hospital (HSH) and is responsible for the effective and efficient administration and coordination of all aspects of the HSH operations, and ensuring the development, implementation, coordination and maintenance of all aspects of the HSH’s treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge programming. As such this position works closely, cooperatively and collaboratively with the Chief and administrative staff of the Adult Mental Health Division (AMHD) in identifying treatment and rehabilitation programming, services and activities needs, problem solving, policy development, implementation and coordination of effective corrective action, the redirection and/or integration of public and private programs and/or services. LICENSE: A. This position must be licensed in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes as applicable to the discipline of the incumbent. B. Valid Type 3 Driver’s License.
