AMENDED PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, the proclamation, issued on May 3, 2018, included a statement as to what locations would serve as polling places for the upcoming elections;

WHEREAS, on June 7, 2018, a proclamation was issued notifying registered voters in District Precincts 04-03 and 04-04 that the 2018 Primary Election would be conducted by absentee mail ballot for District Precincts 04-03 and 04-04;

WHEREAS, on July 6, 2018, a supplementary proclamation was issued notifying registered voters in District Precincts 04-03 and 04-04 that a dual polling place would be operated at Pahoa Community Center for the 2018 Primary Election to allow voters in District Precincts 04-03 and 04-04 who had not already voted by absentee mail ballot or at an absentee polling place to vote and to allow eligible individuals to register and vote in person on election day;

WHEREAS, we have been informed that Puueo Multi-Culture Center, Hall is no longer available to serve as the polling place for registered voters of District Precinct 01-07;

WHEREAS, we have been informed that Crestview Community Park, Recreation Center is no longer available to serve as the polling place for registered voters of District Precinct 35-04;

WHEREAS, we have been informed that Waikele Elementary School, Cafeteria is no longer available to serve as the polling place for registered voters of District Precincts 35-05 and 37-04;

WHEREAS, we have been informed that the Recreation Building at Waipahu Field is no longer available to serve as the polling place facility for registered voters of District Precinct 35-06;

WHEREAS, we have been informed that the Cafeteria at Castle High School is no longer available to serve as the polling place facility for registered voters of District Precinct 49-04;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SCOTT T. NAGO, Chief Election Officer of the State of Hawaii, do hereby amend the May 3, 2018 proclamation to proclaim that the polling places for the voters of the previously mentioned district precincts are now as follows for the upcoming 2018 General Election:

35-06 Waipahu Field, Multi-Purpose Room

37-04 Kanoelani Elementary School, Cafeteria
94-1091 Oli Loop

49-04 Castle High School, Building 1
45-386 Kaneohe Bay Drive

All other provisions of the proclamation, issued on May 3, 2018, shall remain in full force and effect.
