NOTICE TO BIDDERS

BID FORMS AND PLANS for IFB No. CCR152264A will be available from and received in the Community Colleges Facilities and Environmental Health Office, 2010 East-West Road, UH Federal Credit Union Building (rear entrance).

Due to conditions at the site that may not be clearly identified in technical specifications and plans, it is highly recommended that all bidders attend the pre-bid conference/jobsite walk-through at 2:00 pm, August 14, 2017 at Kapiolani Community College, Mokihana Building, Honolulu, Hawaii.

The project in general consists of, but is not limited to, selective removal work and new work including carpet tiles, rubber baseboards, painting, gypsum board partitions, wood doors, visual display surfaces, identifying devices, acoustical suspended acoustic ceiling tiles, identifying devices, metal fabrications, electrical work, IT work and incidental related work as called for on the Plans and Technical Specifications.

To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawai’i contractor’s license B.

Requests for Substitution/Clarification must be submitted to the Technical Representative, Cara Kimura at ckimura2@hawaii.edu no later than August 21. 2017 at 4:00 pm, Hawai’i Standard Time.

Bids must be submitted no later than September 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm, Hawai’i Standard Time.

Bids received after the due date and time fixed above will not be considered.
